About Joseph Giuliana, Barrister & Solicitor

In 1997 I obtained my double Honours B.A. in psychology and criminology from York University. In 2002, I graduated with my LL.B. from Queen’s University School of Law.   As a law student at Queen’s, I took part in the Correctional Law Program - representing Federal Inmates before the National Parole Board of Canada, Institutional Disciplinary Hearings and Inmate Appeals. 

I articled with Thomson Rogers, a leading Bay street civil litigation law firm in downtown Toronto.  Soon after my call to the Ontario Bar in 2003, I joined Eddy Greenspan’s office as an associate criminal lawyer.  At Greenspan’s office, I worked on several high profile trials and appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal and to the Supreme Court of Canada.   I have practiced criminal law almost exclusively since then.   

I have and continue to work along side Kim Schofield, one of Canada's prominent criminal defence lawyers, for nearly 20-years.  I specialize in all types of criminal law cases, with a focus on large complex gang prosecutions, homicides, major drug & wiretap cases and litigation under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

My practice includes servicing clients not only throughout the GTA, but also throughout many parts of Ontario (Vaughan, Brampton, Oshawa, Whitby, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Orangeville, Guelph, Hamilton, Newmarket, Barrie, Walkerton, Bellville, St. Catharines, Windsor,  and Northern Ontario - as far as Thunder Bay).
